TRAINING AT NATIONAL CONFERENCE
Warren– Estate Planning Attorney Jack N. Alpern attended an educational conference in San Diego, CA in October sponsored by the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys. Mr. Alpern was appointed to the Education Advisory Board of The Academy. The Academy is a national educational organization that promotes excellence in estate planning by providing member attorneys with research and vital updates in estate, tax and business planning law since 1993. The advanced educational training included Asset Protection Strategies with noted author and speaker Jay Adkisson, Probate and Trust Administration presented by Dennis Sandoval, highly sought after estate planning and elder law attorney,and Bombproofing Your Trust presented by nationally recognized attorney Bruce Ross. Further training focused on Funeral Trusts and Recent Developments on Estate Tax Update, Legislation and Regaining Capacity. In addition to these important and timely topics, other sessions focused on the specific responsibilities that almost all pet owners have when planning their estates to avoid having family pets “inherited by a local shelter.”
